International Long-Distance Races
Since 1990 we have taken part in the national long-distance races of Pau (990 km), Barcelona (1070 km), Dax (982km), Marseille (790 km) and Perpignan (912 km). We raced an average of 58 per cent of the prizes and won a lot of international, national and Euregio-Championchips. Since 1991 we have achieved the first place long-distance in our "Rhine Valley Club" year after year. The most important international and national championships of the past years as follows:

Highlights 2000

Highlight of the year 2000 was the qualification of the pigeon DV 06720 98 601 V from Friedhelm Menne and daughters for the Olympics in South Africa. This cock raced twice at the top as a yearling from Bordeaux (933 km) and when he was two years old four times at the top of the national races with a distance of 900 km!!! Breeder of the "Olympia" are Peter and H. P. Brockamp, Boppard.

Furthermore:
1st National long-distance Champion south-east (St. Pölten, Nickelsdorf, Budapest) with only eight pigeons. We took part in theses races for the first time!!

Highlights 2001

Highlight of the year 2001 is the 2nd national Marseille with "Sven" DV 6720 99 339. In region I we won the 1st and 3rd prize. 3rd prize winner (31st National) is the yearling hen "Venus" DV 06720 00 245. This result also was good for the fastest two birds in the national Marseille 2001.

Furthermore:
1st National long-distance Champion south-east (St. Pölten, Wien, Budapest) for the second time. With only 7 pigeons in this national competition we won the first three ace-pigeons!!!
